Shop offers small business customer service with big box pricing
Some may think print is dead but Scott Gillard disagrees.
Gillard quietly launched Quinprint, Halifax’s newest print shop on Lady Hammond Road earlier this summer.
Gillard is the founder of Boom12 Communications which has been in business since 2013. Quinprint stems from a relentless demand for print materials from Gillard’s digital marketing clients.
He is looking forward to welcoming the community to a grand opening later this year. Despite ongoing setup and renovations, the new shop is open for business offering a full range of print and signage services with easy online ordering, they’re open until 6pm, and are committed to friendly, small business customer service.
“Print remains a great way for small businesses to reach their local market in a cost-effective manner. In one business we focus on digital advertising, but it can be hard to break through the noise. Print materials are tactile and in your hand, it’s very different, effective, and smart small business owners know it,” said Gillard.
By providing free local delivery, in-person services and an online ordering platform, Quinprint will fill a niche in a printing industry that is increasingly dominated by large companies, including big box printers like Staples and Vistaprint, who are based outside of Nova Scotia.
“Our online ordering system is available 24/7, we offer free local delivery, and the shop is open weekdays until 6pm. Those after work hours are essential for busy small business owners,” said Gillard. “We are a small business, and we know the flexibility and value small business owners need to thrive.”
Whether it’s promotional materials, banners, signage, or stationary, Quinprint offers high quality prints that will exceed expectations on value and quality.
